Jack is one of the amazing staff that works at Supanova Pop Culture Expo in the Staging department. When not making sure that everything is running on time at the stages, he is looking very dapper at the VIP cocktail party.
This image was shot in the Gold Coast, low light always a fun challenge.
Lucy & the Lyra
On Sunday we spent a couple of hours photographing Lucy Sky Diamond on the Lyra (Ariel Hoop) at Circ's'cool
Challenging for both model and photographer but lots of fun as well.
Lucy wore three different vintage outfits for the shoot, the one in this shot is a 1960's showgirls costume from Liverpool UK.
We cannot wait to show more from this shoot, but Supanova Pop Culture Expo tour starts today, so we all have to wait.
Big thanks to Reese Truscott for being my assistant on the day.

Another portrait of Samora.
It's All In The Eyes
One of the biggest things for me when shooting portraits is the eyes. I learnt while working in video and cinema that selling a shot involves a lot of things, but if the eyes don't convince you, then everything can fall apart. When shooting portraits, this is something I really look for. You don't get the luxury of 24+ frames per second to tell a story. You only get one.
I am still learning how this works, and dare say that it's something that I'll never stop learning.
Above is a shot of Erin, my talented friend that has helped me so much to learn this in the shoots we have done together.
A Portrait of Matthew
Matthew is a man of many talents. He runs Nanna's Coffee & Vintage, is a musician with many credits, has an amazing beard and fire-twirls.
We had a bit of fun capturing Matt down at the skate park last night. Above is one of the less flame dynamic portraits we shot but does show Matt's intense focus.
