Nature is harsh.

I came across the "epic" battle of a small spider taking on a scorpion at my parents house. It was happening on the back door. Not to look a opportunity like this pass me by, I grabbed the macro lens and photographed the battle until the victor was declared.

The amazing thing was how the spider disabled the scorpion. As you can see in the above photo, it wrapped up the stinger before anything else. By the end, the spider actually pulled the stinger over the scorpion to make the whole thing look like a loop. It then went back up it's web to rest (as far as I could tell).
